Caroline Morrow McElroy
Dr. Joe was my doctor from the very early days of his practice when I was a very young tot up until his passing. He was always a great Dr. to myself and my son that was born 11/07/1971. It could have been a more traumatic event, but Dr. Joe took care of it. I still think of him and wonder where his office was after it was moved from McCormick and Blakeslee in NoHo. I cannot for the life of me remember where it was located...maybe on Magnolia somewhere. I did not stay when his practice was taken over by another doctor. In 1983 I gave birth to another son and I named him Joseph after my beloved Dr. Joe. To this day I have not found anyone to replace him. He used to sing and whistle all of the time and was a jovial kind of man.
