phantoms in the brain by V.S Ramachandran is a gripping read. V.S also has nuoeumrs other enticing reads such as the emerging mind. i appreciate these are neurology books but they're not overly complicated and i'm sure with your wifes medical background she will find them enriching reads. on that note, i also suggest oliver sacks the man who mistook his wife for a hat. oh and there's a new patrick holford nutrition book out call nutrition for the mind. my sis read it and she can't speak highly enough about it. merry christmas!
